What's the difference between a custom-built house and a standard house?

Custom-built Houses: We will tailor a custom-built container house to your unique needs and location. We will construct your 10-foot to 40-foot container home, starting with the steel frame. You can choose the materials and colors for the walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and other hardware. We can also add underfloor heating and solar power systems according to your requirements, creating your dream home.

Standard Houses: Our standard container houses are inspired by the most popular custom-built houses. Purchasing a standard container house from our website is the fastest and most economical way to obtain a TSBD container house, as it significantly reduces the time and indirect costs required to build a fully custom-built container house. Same quality, more affordable.
Are there any additional fees?

Yes, shipping and customs duties are included.
Shipping Costs - Shipping costs for all orders depend on your distance from our production base (located in Tangshan, Hebei Province, China). Typically, the cost for a single container to Europe or the Americas is around $3,000 (one standard container can hold one 40-foot container house, two 20-foot container houses, or six 20-foot mini container houses). Goods will be shipped to the nearest port to you.
Customs Duties - Customs clearance fees payable when you pick up your goods from the port.
Will the metal in TSBD container houses rust?

In short, yes. We use special steel with multiple rust-proofing treatments, making it rust much slower than ordinary steel, ensuring it maintains its waterproof performance throughout its lifespan. If you take care of the house's wear and tear during use, you can extend its lifespan even further.
What type of container do you use?

All our products are brand new, from their structural frame to their environmentally friendly wall insulation and flooring—all are first-time applications.
What are the foundation options for container houses?

The most important factor for a container house foundation is a level surface. If the ground is level, a container house can be built. Based on this, we recommend the following foundation options:
Sleepers – This is usually the most economical permanent foundation option and is ideal if you plan to relocate your container house in the future.
Gravel mat – This option is moderately priced and considered a long-term reliable foundation for container houses.
Concrete slab – This is usually the most expensive option, but it is also the best choice for maintaining the levelness and stability of the container house.
